Tegucigalpa Capital of Honduras

This is a city of mix of colonial and modern buildings, the mountain settings, and relaxed atmosphere finding places and sites to see , including several colonial churches, museums, a large market area, and plenty of handicraft stores, all in the downtown area.

In the surrounding hills are the colonial mining villages of Santa Lucia, Valle de Angeles and National Park La Tigra has a well-developed network of trails through its clouds forest all of this beautiful places make for a great day-trip.

With a dramatic view of the Capital City and among a forest of oaks and pines on Picacho comes to be one of the best parks in the city has a zoo where you can see some of our native animals Honduras as well has a very complete collection of white-tailed deer and spider monkeys. The total area is about 22 blocks

Valle de Angeles & Santa Lucia
These are the remaining Colonial cities that were used to establish all the mining operations in the past. They both have cobblestone streets and churches dating back to the XVI century. You will enjoy visiting craft factories and souvenirs shops, and might even take home wood products, clothing, stone or leather goods.
