The Great Copan

Day 1: San Pedro Sula – Copan
Early transfer by road to Copan, visit at the sepultures site where the nobles Maya’s use to live, this will be a perfect introduction to what we will see tomorrow, evening at !leisure! our tour guide will take you to a local restaurant to try authentic Honduras cuisine

Day 2: Copan
After breakfast our guide will give you a walking tour of the main archeological site, including the acropolis, the ball court, the hieroglyphic stairway and tunnels that will conduct you to the Rosalila temple acclaimed by experts as unique in the Maya World discovered in 1989 perfectly preserved underground. after our visit to the sites it’s time to go back to the hotel & spend our afternoon shopping and strolling around town, remember you spend the night in one of the most charming towns in Honduras, where you will be able to stroll the cobblestone streets.
after breakfast visit to the archeological museum in town, this will be a perfect compliment to what you have seen on the main site end of the program transfer back to San Pedro Sula.
